Creating a drop
Every step of a drop, from the brief to the paused campaign.
A drop is one release: your brief, the ideas, the designs you approve, the products on Fourthwall and a Meta campaign. Start one from New drop. Every drop is saved under Runs, so you can come back to it.
1. The brief
Describe the drop in a sentence or a short paragraph: the mood, a reference or two, and who it's for.
Washed botanical line drawings for a spring capsule, for people who garden on balconies.
2. The ideas
wovain comes back with a few ideas for the drop. Each one is scored on three things:
- Taste: how closely it matches what your audience already likes.
- This week: whether people are talking about it now.
- Competition: how many similar listings are already out there.
Each idea shows its sources. Pick the ones you want to see drawn.
3. The designs
wovain drafts the graphics for each idea and checks them for print: size, legibility at chest size, number of colours, and names or marks you shouldn't use. Each design shows that check as Ready or Needs work, with what to fix.
- Approve the designs you'd put your name on.
- Reject one with a note, such as "heavier type, lose the leaves", and choose Make another for a new round on the same idea.
Nothing moves on without at least one approved design.
4. The products
Approved designs become products on real Fourthwall blanks. Each price starts from the blank's base cost and keeps at least $10 profit and a 30% margin, after card fees, sales tax and a refund reserve, rounded up to a whole dollar.
Products are created hidden. Choose Publish to Fourthwall when you're ready for them to appear in your shop. You can change any price later in Fourthwall.
5. The campaign
Set a daily budget between $1 and $500. wovain writes several ads for each product, each from a different angle, and builds a Meta campaign with an ad per variant.
The campaign is created paused. Review it in Meta Ads Manager and turn it on when you're ready to spend.
